What are you doing? Whaaaaaaat? Do you call that a “Thank You Letter Appreciation “? That's totally wrong you can't address someone like that in a letter!! Especially if he is your boss or something… you don't want to get fired, do you?
Writing a thank you letter appreciation has some formalities and rules to follow whether you are writing it for business needs or for personal needs. It has to contain concise, sincere and warm words that can express your feelings and what you have in mind without being rude or whatever it is.
But why do you write a “thank you appreciation letter”? It's like what its name says: you write to express your gratitude or appreciation for an act that has been performed by someone; it could be a promotion, sympathy, recommendations, financial help, a helpful advice… the reasons diverse but the concept is one.
And like I mentioned later, it has to be polite and warm. Maybe I should give you an example:
I am just writing this little note in order to thank you for your thoughtful and kind card that you sent while I was in the hospital. Your feelings towards me made me feel so warm and loved.
I will surely call you soon.
With all my love,
See? Simple but expressing!! Maybe I should introduce a more formal style (maybe the guy who wrote the one in the beginning of the article will use it lol)

As you can see dear reader, writing a thank you letter is pretty easy; the clue is to keep it simple and expressing.
Thank you letters need to be sincere at the least. If the letter is not sincere, it is not from the heart but just a formality or a compulsion that gets reflected. sincere thank you letters does not mean it has to be decorated with flowery languages or should be full of praises. The true feeling needs to be got across and a frank opinion is always considered sincere and is appreciated by everyone.
